Inspiring Children to Become Independent and Responsible Thinkers
At Almeley Primary School and Little Elms Nursery, we believe that education should take place in a fully inclusive, environment that promotes equality and respect, where all feel valued. We aim to create a stimulating and challenging curriculum, suited to children’s needs to allow all to achieve their full potential. Our aim is for our pupils to become independent and responsible learners, that equip them with the skills to become valuable and well-rounded members of society. We intend that all children should enjoy their learning and receive a wide range of different experiences that builds their confidence and knowledge. We are committed to providing a positive, safe and stimulating, ecofriendly environment. Our school strives to be at the center of our small rural community with positive and effective links. Our caring staff create a family atmosphere that facilitates co-operation, collaboration and teamwork.
Our Vision is that our pupils and staff will be confidently able to:
- be tolerant and respectful of differences between people
- respect property, nature and our beautiful rural environment
- stretch themselves and their thinking
- learn by trying, by failing and by succeeding
- express themselves with confidence
- be eco-friendly by recycling and reusing
- develop independence and be ready for their next phase in education
